How to Properly Configure BTFS Node for Maximum Upload Speed?

Hello BTFS Community,

I’m currently setting up a BTFS node and would like to optimize it for the fastest possible upload speeds. I’ve followed the standard setup guide, but I’m unsure about a few specifics that could potentially improve my node’s performance.

Here are my questions:

Network Configuration: Are there any specific ports or network settings I should configure to allow for better upload speeds? For example, do I need to adjust firewall settings or use a particular network type (IPv4 vs. IPv6)?

Disk Performance: Does the speed of the storage medium (SSD vs. HDD) have a significant impact on upload speeds for BTFS, or is bandwidth the main limiting factor?

Max Upload Settings: Are there any command-line parameters or configuration options to set the maximum upload rate? I’d like to ensure my node is utilizing the full bandwidth potential without throttling.

Peer-to-Peer Connection Optimization: How can I ensure optimal peer-to-peer connections? Does the number of peers or the type of peers I connect to affect upload speeds?

Background Tasks: Should I disable certain background processes on the node or the machine running it (such as automatic updates, other heavy apps) to ensure BTFS is using the full resources?

Any insights or tips from more experienced users would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks in advance!
