Problems installing BTFS Node on Windows/Linux – Need help with solution

Hello everyone,

I am trying to install BTFS Node on Windows and Linux environments for decentralized Steal Brainrot Game data storage, but encountered some technical issues that I have not found a solution to. Specifically:

On Windows:

After running btfs init and btfs daemon, I received errors related to permission denied or port conflict, even though I tried running with admin rights and changing the port.

On Linux (Ubuntu 22.04):

When starting the daemon, the log reported cannot connect to bootstrap nodes or API timeout, even though the network is stable and the firewall has opened the port.

I have tried:

Update to the latest version of BTFS.

Check the firewall and port.

Restart the daemon several times.

But still not successful.

I want to ask the community:

Is there a way to debug in more detail to know the specific error?

Do you have any experience installing BTFS Node stably on Windows/Linux?

Any notes on system configuration, firewall, or network to avoid this error?

I look forward to receiving your sharing so that I can run the BTFS node stably.
Thank you very much, community!
