Are the Narcissus flowers hazardous to pets and children?

Although the Narcissus flowers are beautiful, they are poisonous when eaten. The compounds in all its parts, in particular, the bulbs, are capable of causing nausea, vomiting, or stomach pain in pets and humans. Dogs and cats are quite sensitive, especially when they dig up and chew the bulbs. Planting Narcissus flowers is better in places where pets and young children are not able to reach or employ barriers to guarantee the safety of the gardens.
