Is Train Travel Better Than Flights? (USA & Europe Experience)

I’ve been comparing train travel and flights recently, especially for trips across the USA and Europe, and I’m starting to feel that trains are seriously underrated.

In the US, Amtrak routes connect major cities and offer a more relaxed travel experience compared to crowded airports. Routes like long-distance cross-country trains give you scenic views that you just don’t get on a flight. In Europe, high-speed trains make it even better — you can travel between cities quickly without the stress of airport security and long waiting times.

Another thing I noticed is that train stations are often located right in the city, which saves a lot of time. Plus, onboard amenities like comfortable seating, dining options, and even sleeper cabins make long journeys much more enjoyable.

While looking into all this, I found a platform called

Visit ZadRails

that shares useful details about train routes, stations, and travel experiences. It helped me understand what to expect before planning a journey.

I’m curious to know:
Do you prefer trains or flights for long-distance travel?
Any memorable train journeys you’ve experienced?
