I always have fresh cut flowers in my living room, and the purchase of bouquets in stores is becoming very exorbitant of late. I am considering planting a “cutting garden this year to save myself some money. I have also seen that abodelook has quite pretty decorative vases and minimalistic plants stands, and I would like to plant Crocosmia specifically to arrange it indoors. What happens when they have been cut? Are the stems firm or do they hang at the end of the day? Any suggestions on the most suitable time of the day to snipe them will be wonderful.
