5-Day Sound Healing Teacher Training Course (TTC) Syllabus
5-day Sound Healing Certification Training Course is designed to provide participants with a strong foundation in the theory, science, and practice of sound healing. The training blends ancient wisdom with modern understanding, enabling students to confidently facilitate individual and group sound healing sessions. Emphasis is placed on experiential learning, ethical practice, and teaching methodology.
By the end of the course, students will gain practical skills, theoretical knowledge, and the confidence required to teach sound healing safely and effectively.
Course Objectives
Upon successful completion of this TTC, participants will be able to:
Understand the fundamentals of sound, vibration, and frequency.
Explain the therapeutic effects of sound on the body, mind, and nervous system.
Skillfully use sound healing instruments and the human voice.
Design and facilitate sound healing sessions for individuals and groups.
Apply ethical guidelines and safety considerations in sound healing practice.
Integrate sound healing into yoga, meditation, and wellness practices.
Day 1 – Foundations of Sound Healing
Theory Focus:
Introduction to sound healing and vibrational medicine
History of sound healing across cultures (Vedic, Tibetan, Indigenous, Greek, and Eastern traditions)
Principles of sound, frequency, resonance, and vibration
Understanding intention and consciousness in healing work
Practical Focus:
Deep listening practices
Experiential sound meditation
Introduction to vocal toning and breath awareness
Learning Outcomes:
Students understand the origins and purpose of sound healing
Students experience sound as a tool for awareness and relaxation
Day 2 – Science of Sound & the Human System
Theory Focus:
Physics of sound: frequency, amplitude, harmonics, entrainment
Brainwave states and sound (beta, alpha, theta, delta)
Effects of sound on the nervous system and emotional regulation
Chakras, nadis, and energy body in relation to sound
Practical Focus:
Chakra toning and bija mantras
Guided sound meditation for nervous system balance
Partner exercises for energetic awareness
Learning Outcomes:
Students can explain how sound influences the body and mind
Students gain confidence using sound for relaxation and balance
Day 3 – Sound Healing Instruments
Theory Focus:
Overview of sound healing tools and their therapeutic applications
Ethics and cultural respect in the use of traditional instruments
Safety guidelines and contraindications
Practical Focus:
Tibetan and crystal singing bowls: playing techniques, placement, and sequencing
Tuning forks: use on and around the body
Percussion instruments: drums, rattles, bells, and rhythm patterns
Introduction to gongs (if available): basic strokes and sound immersion
Learning Outcomes:
Students demonstrate correct and safe use of sound healing instruments
Students understand how to choose instruments based on intention
Day 4 – Facilitating Sound Healing Sessions
Theory Focus:
Structure of a sound healing session
Creating sacred space and setting intention
Working with groups vs. one-to-one sessions
Trauma-informed and client-centered approaches
Practical Focus:
Designing sound baths and therapeutic sessions
Voice and mantra integration in facilitation
Guided practice: leading short sound healing segments
Peer feedback and instructor guidance

Students can design and lead a complete sound healing session

Day 5 – Teaching Methodology & Integration

Teaching sound healing: communication and presence

Practical Focus:
Final practical assessment: student-led sound healing session
