Parkinson's Disease (PD) Model based In Vitro Assay

Parkinson's disease (PD) is a neurodegenerative disease pathologically characterized by the loss of dopaminergic neurons in the substantia nigra and proteinaceous amyloid fibrils composed mostly of α-synuclein, called Lewy pathology. These accumulations of alpha-synuclein appear to spread from one neuron to the next. As the number of Lewy bodies increases in the brain and in the nervous system in the body, the symptoms of PD worsen. At Creative Biolabs, we are dedicated to supporting a range of PD research and therapeutic developments.
