When the Numbers Click: My Unexpected Obsession with Sudoku
last month by Verina Amber
It started on a random Tuesday morning. I was half-awake, sipping bitter coffee, when my phone’s news app offered a “quick Sudoku challenge.” I thought, Why not? Just a few minutes to wake up my brain. Spoiler alert: two hours later, my coffee was cold, and I was deep in a grid of numbers, chasing that one missing “7” like a detective on a caffeine high.
I didn’t plan to fall in love with Sudoku. I’m not even a math person — I panic at restaurant bills. But Sudoku isn’t about math; it’s about logic, patience, and the strange joy of watching order emerge from chaos.
