How to Become a BTFS SP

The application process to become a BTFS Storage Provider consists of three steps:
1-Become a BTTC Validator
To deeply integrate with the BTTC ecosystem and enhance network security and stability, you must first become a BTTC Validator before applying to be a BTFS Storage Provider. Validators not only participate in network consensus and secure on-chain transactions, but also provide reliable infrastructure support for BTFS through identity verification and stake binding.

2-Deploy Your BTFS SP Node
Please deploy your SP node in accordance with the recommended hardware configurations and service availability standards. For detailed deployment instructions, refer to the documentation: Install BTFS Node
SP Hardware Requirements

Service Availability Requirements
To meet the demands of enterprise-grade storage for high reliability and availability, BTFS 4.0 SP nodes must achieve:
- Service Level Agreement (SLA): 99.9%
- Data Durability: 99.99%
These metrics ensure users can consistently access their data at any time, while guaranteeing data integrity and security.
3-Submit Your Application via the BTFS Proposal Module
